Dr. Kelly Brown

EdD: Educational Administration and Supervision / Texas Southern University
Dr. Brown started her career in education at a child care center in Austin, Texas. She has worked in the field of education for over 20 years as a teacher, administrator, consultant and trainer. She has been training child care administrators and teachers throughout the state of Texas for past 10 years with the Texas Teacher Academy. She speaks at conferences centered on education across the country. She currently serves as Master Teacher for the Texas Teacher Academy. She believes in the positive growth potential of every child, every child care employee and every early childhood center. Her passion and her goal is to provide resources and support for child care professionals that seek personal and professional growth for themselves and their center.
Cathy Mitchell
BS: Social Science / University of Arkansas Pine Bluff
MEd: Counselor Education / Southern Illinois University Edwardsville
Cathy Mitchell has well over 30 years of professional experience in every facet of education. To her honor she has held positions such as a teacher, special needs teacher, gifted & talented teacher, testing coordinator, school counselor, day care administrator, and educational consultant. Traveling with the military has provided her the opportunity to work with diverse populations at all income levels in every region of the United States. She has been training child care administrators and teachers throughout the State of Texas for the past 5 years with The Texas Teacher Academy, formerly The Rock School. Her vast knowledge base, adds an incredible amount of activity, and experience to each workshop that is given. She currently serves as Program Director and a Master Teacher for the Texas Teacher Academy. She believes in honoring the child care profession with the very best and designs her presentations to benefit the theoretical and practical skills needed to facilitate a child care center effectively, with compassion and sound business sense.
Dr. Kimberly Mcleod

Dr. McLeod has over 15 years experience in the field of education. Her previous positions include, child care teacher aide, teacher, counselor, administrator, day care administrator and university professor. She has been published in over 15 journals on a national and international level. She speaks at national and international conferences throughout the year on topics centered on education. She has been both an owner and director of a child care center. She has been training child care administrators and teachers for over 10 years. She is a highly sought after public speaker and trainer throughout the United States. She has been honored with numerous opportunities to present and share research with child care centers, professional organizations, public and private schools throughout the country. She currently serves as the Educational Director for the Texas Teacher Academy.
